I'm working on uploading a daily, or approximately daily, video from my webcam to YouTube. I think it will be most interesting when the weather turns ugly but could be entertining otherwise.

I have been unhappy with my older Foscam camera. It wasn't bad exactly but the night-time performance wasn't the best any more. The images were really fogged and indistinquishable. So I went looking for a new one.

I'm taking a leap of faith here and enabling comments. I do have a couple of way to reject bot comments that seems to be working well. But comments are new here and we'll have to see if they are effective.
Hopefully the experiment doesn't end up like this!

I admit that's it's a lot of fun to find something cool on Thingiverse and just whip it out on the 'ole 3-D Printer ... I've done it many, many times! Here are a couple of things I have done that aren't toys or sculpture ...|

Trans World Airlines was originally called Transcontinental & Western Air. This advertising plaque was in my father's collection of memorabilia.

I came across this signboard that my father used when he was captain of a flight. This was probably used on the Douglas DC3 and Lockheed Constellation aircraft as by the time he got into jets I don't think they were used any more.
